County Planner

Lincoln County Planning & Zoning is searching for a qualified candidate to fulfill the position of County Planner.  This position will be under the supervision of the department director and county mayor.  Position will provide planning functions for the unincorporated areas of Lincoln County and have a working relationship with the municipalities within the county.  Qualifications include a bachelor's degree in related field or a minimum of five (5) years’ experience in planning; valid driver's license or ability to secure upon hire; independent writing, verbal and critical thinking skills; proficient with Microsoft Excel and Word; familiar with ESRI and ability to create maps for presentation; available for after-hour meetings. Deadline for applications is until position is filled with a start date immediately.
