Lincoln County Opioid Fund Committee

Mission Statement:
The Lincoln County Opioid Fund Committee serves to advise the Lincoln County Commission on how to effectively, fairly, and transparently spend the opioid settlement funds awarded to the County. The Committee will identify spending priorities and make recommendations focused on prevention, harm reduction, treatment, and recovery strategies to overcome opioid and substance use disorders.
 
 
Principles for the Use of Funds:
1) Spend money to save lives.
2) Use evidence to guide spending.
3) Invest in youth prevention.
4) Focus on racial equity.
5) Develop a fair and transparent process for decision where to spend the funding.

Funding applications can be submitted in person to the Lincoln County Mayor’s office or via email to: LCOFC@lincolncountytn.gov  A determination will be made at the next Committee meeting (check with County Mayor for date) and applicants will be notified.
